Expressions of interest wanted from creative arts and sports practitioners

Posted on Jun 10, 2016

Are you a creative arts or sports practitioner who works with young people?

The Switch Project, based in Pendeford, has worked with young people in Wolverhampton schools and communities for almost 10 years, offering support to those considered vulnerable or struggling to cope within mainstream school. Working with small groups of pupils aged 11-16 years old, the aim of Switch is to build confidence and engage young people in education again.

We are looking for expressions of interest from practitioners that can deliver creative, positive and inspiring workshops in the month of July 2016. These workshops can be based in any of the creative arts or sports and can be either one-off 2 hour or 4 hour sessions, or a series of workshops up to 12 hours. All workshops will be based at our centre in Dovecotes Primary School and you will have support from Switch Project staff where necessary.

To register your interest please email a CV, brief outline of proposed workshops, availability in July and your hourly rate to Tim Wakefield on before Friday 1st July 2016.

All applicants will require a DBS number and references for safer recruitment purposes.
